Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to present this 1980 Chevrolet Corvette! In 1967 Chevrolet made a major overhaul to the Corvette brand when they unveiled the all new C3 corvette for the 1968 model year. The Mako Shark II design for the car was conceived by Larry Shinoda. The C3 corvette was produced all the way until 1982. For those 14 years Chevrolet would make many changes, many of which were suggestions from their customer base. This is a 1980 model and wow is she sharp! She was restored in 2018, we believe repainted at that time as well and is most likely why she looks so stunning, that and she was ceramic coated! The black T-tops are new and provide a nice balance between a convertible and a coupe. The 20" custom wheels look really good on her and complete the stance! Inside you'll find black leather seats that are in great shape! Per the owner, under the hood is the factory 350ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Recent work over the last few years are: custom wheels, new t-tops, Bluetooth, new custom exhaust, new edelbrock air intake, and new headlight actuators. Current owner has had her for over a year, acquired from a private owner in Kentucky. The title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! Don't miss your chance on this sharp Vette and call us today! Options on this Corvette include: A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows/Locks, Leather Interior, T-tops, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, and Custom Wheels. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
