Description : Gateway Classic Cars Houston Showroom is pleased to offer this all steel, custom pearl white over metallic magenta 1938 Chevrolet Coupe. There's a lot going on with this steel stallion that doesn't first meet the eye. Hiding under the hood is a potent 5.7L LT1 V8, which is backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Coated Hooker shorty headers scavenge the exhaust gases into the custom dual exhaust system, which sounds great. The Corvette drivetrain spins the gears in the Corvette IRS rear end, and the adjustable coilover shocks at each corner really enhance the handling that this car is capable of. Corvette calipers and rotors are at each corner, so this bad boy stops as well as it goes! A set of meaty Nitto NT555G2 performance radials wrap the polished Aluminum American Racing Torque Thrust wheels, and they have plenty of tread depth left to put in lots of cruising! Inside, the first thing one notices is the pleasant aroma of the leather that covers most everything. The gray leather, along with the deep red alligator print leather trim is in very good shape; and together, they add some nice pizazz to the overall experience you'll have driving this classic beast. A custom LED digital dash (with billet aluminum bezel) provides the driver with plenty of information, and it looks cool doing it. This vintage ride comes with lots of additional features, including Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, Power Door Poppers, Power Driver Seat, Power Steering, Power Windows, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Column. If you're looking for a vintage all steel Chevy with a modern drivetrain, here it is!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
