Beautifully Cared For 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS Pickup
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this sensational 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS 2 Door Pickup with gold/black exterior paint and a matching gold vinyl interior.  Under the hood you’ll find the factory 396 bored to 402 cid V-8 engine along with the numbers-matching automatic transmission, both of which have been rebuilt within the last 1,400 miles.  This highly original classic is nicely equipped for modern highway driving and it is ready to enjoy immediately as a high-end driver.

Two Owner Classic w/ 1,400 Miles on Rebuilt Factory Drivetrain
The current owner of this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS Pickup purchased it back in 2003 from the original owner.  He informs us that it was originally purchased in Petaluma, California and it has remained in the state its entire lifetime.  In fact, we have excellent documentation going back decades on this classic muscle car and it appears that very little has changed through the years.  Out on the open road, this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS Pickup still performs nicely with great acceleration and handling; it appears that the maintenance has been excellent and we have many receipts on file.
Additionally, the interior of this ’70 El Camino Pickup appears almost completely original with minimal signs of wear- there are a few signs of aging but nothing you’d expect from a true survivor.  The engine compartment and rear bed are also well above the typical driver standard with only minor signs of aging.  The exterior body is typical of a high end survivor and it does appear that it’s been resprayed once in its lifetime.  There are a few imperfections but nothing that takes away from its overall beauty.  This one can be enjoyed immediately as-is and it would also make a perfect candidate for a complete restoration.

Ready to Be Driven & Enjoyed Right Away
Overall, this 1970 Chevrolet El Camino SS Pickup is a beautiful survivor that would make an exceptional addition to any serious collection.  Given its excellent, well-known life history and the level of care it has received, it would be difficult to find a more pristine example anywhere near the current asking price.  You do not want to let this one slip away.  For more information about this impressive vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10386 as well.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
