Chevrolet El Camino 350 V8 1978

General description : Description
This 1978 Chevrolet El Camino has been given all the right investments, including extra bright paint, a comfy A/C interior, and a rebuilt V8 and transmission. So yes, every so often you can get everything you want in a distinctive classic without having to break the bank.
The custom application of bright orange is a great way to grab attention, and the modern clearcoat shine helps us appreciate the sleek and sporty lines of the final-gen El Camino. Plus, the bright grille, clean bumpers, and thin trim around the bed all add to this car's quality appearance. Chevy really gave this a terrific style everywhere you look. Even the rear has a smooth wraparound appearance with a license plate that looks like it was frenched into the tailgate. But as nice as these El Caminos are, they are still pickups. This one likes to emphasize that with handy features, like liner paint in the bed and a proper trailer hitch.
The interior has a tasteful look with plenty of rich black and some wood-like trim breaking up the darkness. When you sit down on the comfy velour split bench, you immediately start to see all the right features a at your fingertips. This has power windows, power locks, and the factory air conditioning has been converted to R134a. The stereo is an upgraded AM/FM/CD unit with fold-out touchscreen to control handy features such as Bluetooth and the provisions for a backup camera. The GT Grant steering wheel on tilt column, and it gives you a nice view of the upgraded Dakota Digital gauges, including speedo and tach.
Under the hood is Chevy's stout 350 cubic-inch V8. We have a long receipt file from the last few years documenting plenty of work that went into this small block. This includes a full comprehensive and professional rebuild (call for the full parts list.) The V8 fires up nicely as it inhales through a proper four-barrel carburetor. It's setup to be an easy all-day cruiser with features such as a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and the nice car-like ride of the Malibu chassis.
This is a standout classic with all the right features, and it's offered for a terrific price. Don't miss you chance. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
