Chevrolet El Camino 454 Big Block 454 V8 1970

General description : Description
This 1970 Chevrolet El Camino has a well-coordinated color combo, nice upgrades, and the unmistakable appeal of big block power under the hood. So dig into the details on a muscle machine that's been done just the way you like it.
Cranberry Red is a terrific color from 1970, and so an upgrade to this later in life means a period-correct look while also getting a nice gloss and shine. And there's brightwork in all the right places, like the big chrome bumpers, full trim around the bed, hood pins, and accenting the Rally wheel package. But what you really love is the dark side. The dual hood stripes were painted on, and so they look as glossy as the red, and at the same time, they accent the cowl induction hood. Plus, it coordinates with the upgraded SS grille, blackout rear panel, and premium black vinyl roof to give the whole El Camino an almost two-tone kind of look. Even the liner paint protecting the bed is finished in black.
All the darkness on the outside is also a preview of the interior. This is another upgrade later in life, so details like the dash and door panels look nice. The bench can seat three, but it has also been upgraded for individual comfort. That's why there are comfy cloth inserts, and there's a fold-down armrest when you want an individual bucket-like feeling. Plus, there are some nice upgrades like a brand new cold R-134a A/C system, the AM/FM digital tuner, and auxiliary readouts for water temp and oil pressure.
Under the hood is a proper big block muscle car look. The smooth and dark inner fenders funnel your attention to the bold orange block in the middle. More than just look great, this provides you with terrific V8 power. The 454 cubic-inch motor inhales deeply with a brand new Holley Sniper EFI system and Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. This mighty motor fires up nicely, and there's a terrific rumble from the dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit that feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end. Plus, there are more great driving features, like power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and upgraded rear suspension arms.
Bold look, big power, and the right features all come together on an El Camino to make a classic that you know you want to gets your hands on right now. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
