Chevrolet El Camino Conquista 350 V8 1984

General description : This 1984 Chevrolet El Camino Conquista has been upgraded in all the right ways - including more V8 power and a custom interior. It makes for a classic Chevy with plenty of everyday driving appeal.
This El Camino takes full advantage of its unique body lines as the two-tone white and blue highlights the sporty slope of the roof as it slopes into the truck bed. This was the kind of color combo the factory would offer, so it has a nice period-correct style. But the added metallic element in the blue really let this one radiate a bit brighter for a proper classic car appearance. The straight door gaps and lines gives an impression of a truck that has been respected for decades. The chrome bumpers and full-length side trim add to the vintage vibe, but those 18-inch Boss Motorsports wheels signal there's more going on here. And overall, you want an El Camino that can still be a real pickup. So it has a style that's not too fancy to be useful. Plus, there are handy features like liner paint protecting the bed and a proper trailer hitch on the rear.
The sea of blues inside goes nicely with the exterior blue metallic. But the first thing that really catches your eye is the upgraded seating. You have two high-back buckets that have the kind of bolstering to be all-day comfortable. In-between is an armrest center console borrowed from a more modern Chevy pickup. An AM/FM/CD/XM stereo, tilt steering column, proper gauges, and premium wood-like trim all make this a nice place to send some time. The air conditioning has even been upgraded to modern R134a refrigerant (it just likely needs a recharge to blow ideally cold again.)
Chevy's small block V8 has a long history of powering the El Camino. By this time the largest you could get from the factory was a 305 cubic-inch unit. That's a fine motor, but many of us would much rather have the later upgrade to the 350ci powerhouse that's under the hood here. And the added performance doesn't stop there. You also have an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, upgraded intake, and a full true dual exhaust. It's a strong-running V8, and it's paired with Chevy's steadfast TH350 three-speed automatic transmission. It's the heart of a great driving package that includes power steering, power brakes, front discs, the El Camino's car-like ride, and the modern/grippy ZR-rated tires.
Complete with title documentation, this is the El Camino is the right mix of vintage and upgraded. It's everything you want, including the affordable price. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
