Description : Big-block 4-speed El Camino! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is thrilled to offer this killer 1969 Chevrolet El-Camino, finished in a beautiful ocean blue Corvette color with silver accent stripes.

The original engine is long gone and was replaced with nice crate 396 big block. It fires right up and sounds healthy. It has that crisp, galloping idle us car guys all love. The engine bay is super sharp with lots of nice chrome and attention to detail. PS, PB and AC are at your command.

El Caminos are a hot commodity here at Gateway, especially cool ones like this. The interior looks great with the vinyl buckets & console, with the 4-speed just begging to be tossed around. Heck it even has a power driver seat.

Paint was done a while back on original panels per the owner, and it has held up quite well. It's a sweet car and will definitely turn heads as you cruise down the road! I mean, nothing quite like nailing a big block Chevy and running through the gears.

The owner provided over $56,000 in receipts, which is always nice to have. Come take a look at it before it gets away! Original air cleaner and valve covers are included.

It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at http://www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information please call our sales staff at (954)227-4202 or email us at fortlauderdale@gatewayclassiccars.com.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
