Description : Our Chicago showroom proudly presents this nice 1987 Chevrolet El Camino. Still wearing its factory two-tone Gold and Brown paint, you would be hard pressed to find a survivor cleaner than this. The original 305 cubic inch V8 runs strong, and the original 200R2 4-speed automatic transmission shifts like a dream. Though the El Camino has always been a working-mans muscle car, the bed on this Camino looks like it has never been a heavy hauler, and it is very clean. The glass is crystal clear.
Though having an “as delivered" survivor is nice, having one that is more reliable than factory is even better. A new radiator has been fitted, to make sure the engine takes no damage from getting to hot, something fairly common on the El Caminos. A high-torque starter was installed to make sure the 305 cranks over with ease, even on the colder mornings. A new fuel tank was installed, as well as new front shocks and a replacement alternator as well.
With such a clean survivor, this El Camino is sure to get noticed at the Cruise nights and car shows. Options include: Air-Conditioning, AM/FM/CD, Spare Tire & jack, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Tilt Steering Wheel, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, and Rally Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires with Raised White Letters. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
