For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a freshly painted 1940 Chevrolet Deluxe 2 Door Sedan. This 40’ Chevy is indeed fresh out of the paint booth, a new coat of red was applied just and looks great. The two tone interior features gray cloth with red inserts, while the dash has been painted to match the exterior, and VDO gauges give the driver the vitals of the car. A 350 CID V8 engine with a Holley aluminum intake and carburetor provides the muscle to this street ride. A TH-350 automatic transmission transfers the power to the 10 bolt rear end. An aluminum radiator helps keep this Chevy cool on long hot days while out and about. The 40’ Chevrolet body sits on a frame donated from a 1970 Chevrolet, as is the engine, transmission, and rear end. The rally wheels, bumpers, grille, and gas door have been painted flat black to accent the red paint, and provide a very nice appearance. The odometer reads 20,087, but the actual mileage is unknown.
