This 1963 Chevrolet Impala SS Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1963 Impala was Chevy’s flagship car with over 820000 units sold it was by far the best-selling car in 63. The full-size car came with a variety of drivelines with anything from an inline 6 standard to the monstrous 425HP 409 engine. The biggest hit that year was the SS package which accounted for almost 30% of the Impala’s sales. A trim package that gave the car a little more styling and could be added to any Impala. This 63 has undergone a complete restoration and it shows. The paint on the car looks great with the white roof accenting the teal body color perfectly. Under the hood is a 400-small block that runs like a dream. The Accel distributor guarantees the right spark at the right time while improving power output. Mated up to a 4-speed transmission this 63 is a blast to drive while the chrome valve covers, and air cleaner give a great contrast under the hood. Inside the vinyl interior is extremely clean and goes well with the exterior paint. The steering column mounted tach is a welcomed addition and in perfect view when slamming through the gears. The huge steering is classic Chevrolet and looks perfect in the car. with all the trim being in good condition the car shows itself, inside and out, very well.
