Chevrolet Impala 350 V8 1963

General description : 1963 Chevrolet BelAir Sedan When 1963 arrive the days of the famous Tri-Five BelAirs was behind us but this line of cars continued to be produced and very popular.  This really clean 1963 belongs to the 5th generation which received an entirely new body.  Although the wheelbase remained the same as the previous generation the length was reduced and a lot of the styling changed to what would become the look associated with the 60's.  This very nice BelAir is a well built car that has received a body on restoration.  The body is in great shape and painted a very nice White with a slick finish.  We have sold quite a few Chevy's of this vintage over the years and the White/Red combo is always a popular choice.  All of the chrome and stainless on the car is in excellent shape and cleanly mounted in place.  The glass is all good as well and is tinted.  These years received the dual headlights and dual taillights which are all working properly.  The car has a slight rake and rides on the Grey American Torq Thrust wheels for a nice old school touch.  It has 15"x8" wheels in back with P235/72R15 Kumho Solus tires and in front are 15"x7" wheels with P215/75R15 tires.  All of the mechanical components in the car have been entirely restored with only 1,000 miles on the engine and transmission.  The motor is a Chevy Performance Turn Key Crate 350/330hp that runs great.  It has been dressed up with Chevrolet chrome valve covers and a chrome air cleaner.  Everything under the hood is cleanly done with nice paint, clean mounts, and clean routing of wires/hoses/etc.  The car has a really nice sound with a 2 1/4" exhaust system by Kinny's that dumps right before the rear bumper. The car is kept cool with a 4 core aluminum radiator and a custom radiator core support filler panel was added to add to the clean look under the hood.  The car runs out really well and has a 500 series power steering box as well as disk brakes with a dual master cylinder.  The front and rear suspension system has been entirely rebuilt and in back it has tubular trailing arms.  The transmission is a 350 automatic that transfers power back to the 10 bolt rear end with 3:55 gears.  The interior is all fresh but was done in the stock style except for a few exceptions.  It has bench seats in front/rear with chrome and red lap belts.  The dash is all in good shape and features Dakota VHX gauges.  A Vintage AC/Heat unit was also installed and all painted to match the rest so although it is an aftermarket system has a more stock appearance.  Below the central AC vents an AM/FM/CD player was installed which deliver sound through Dual rear speakers in the package tray.  In a nod to its ancestors this 63 also sports a 1957 Chevy steering wheel which is a very clever touch.  The trunk of the car is all solid and offers storage space while still having plenty of room for a spare. This is a very clean and well built example of one of these 60's BelAirs so if it fits your style you are not going to want to pass it up! Park it in your garage for NOW REDUCED DOWN TO $43,750.00!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
