Chevrolet S-10 350 V8 1984

General description : LIFTED, 350 V8, 700R4 AUTO, PWR STEER/BRAKE, CLEAN IN/OUT, RUNS/DRIVES GR8, WOW!

This 1984 Chevrolet K-10 is the short bed 4x4 that looks custom and mean from every angle. So when we say it can "go anywhere" we mean it can tackle the trail AND impress at the downtown cruise-in.
The custom shade of Root Beer Metallic brown seems to fit this truck perfectly. The dark color goes with the mean lifted 4x4 attitude, bed liner paint, and the industrial toughness of the beadlock-style wheels. But there's also plenty of metallic shine so it can show off the straightness of the beefy body and custom elements like the cowl induction hood. There's even more brightness with the mirror-like chrome bumpers and wide trailer mirrors. Plus, the front end is a custom setup borrowed from the final years of the K5 Blazers, and the lights have been upgraded to LEDs so that this pickup's brightness still has function.
Inside the tan interior is quite inviting. It starts with a bench seat that has comfortable cloth inserts for where you sit and durable vinyl for the high traffic areas. Plus, the door panels, headliner, and carpeting all coordinate nicely, and they have a feeling of freshness that comes from a solid investment. This generation of Chevy trucks was built around the driver. So the whole dash surrounds you with everything from the full gauge package and heat-defrost sliders.
We've already mentioned how this truck is great for both function and showing off, but we bet you didn't imagine the engine bay was built for this, too! The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks terrific with its bold block, Chevrolet performance valve covers, chrome alternator, and overall tidy setup. It inhales deeply with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, and it exhales with authority as Hedman headers add power as they contribute to the rumble of the dual exhaust. The investment was in more than just power, this V8 has the right supporting components like an upgraded serpentine belt system, large aluminum radiator, and electric fan. You'll also spot more great investments as you look at all the components that make this a terrific 4x4. Not only is the suspension lifted, but you'll see valuable upgrades like the TrXus M/T tires, Pro Comp gas struts, and rear railing arms added for reinforcement. And while all that's great for an off-roader, the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive, power steering, and front disc brakes are features that are great for the street or trail.
It looks mean, sounds mean, and stands tough, which makes this deal oh so nice. Don't miss out, call today!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
