Nicely Maintained 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Pickup
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4 2 Door Pickup with blue exterior paint and a grey cloth interior.  You’ll find a 350 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a 700R4 automatic transmission (w/ a shift kit) that’s been very nicely equipped with a 4” lift kit, dual front shocks with stabilizers, a Flowmaster dual exhaust, air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, power windows and so much more.

Very Tastefully Upgraded
The current owner of this 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Pickup acquired it back in 2015 as a nice driver that simply needed a little TLC to transform it into his dream ride.  He recently had the drivetrain sorted and upgraded it to a shift-kit at the same time he had this Blazer raised 4" to enhance off-road performance, and give it that cool look . This Blazer performs admirable both on and off road with strong acceleration and nice handling, plus sufficient stopping power for when you’re having a little too much fun.  This example is simply a lot of fun to drive and the next owner will be thrilled with it.
Additionally, this 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer shows average signs of wear with a few scratches to the exterior paint and nice chrome all the way around.  The interior does show moderate wear in the driver’s seat since the cloth interior is original, and there are a few cracks to the dashboard hidden below a nice dash cover.  Otherwise, the interior is very clean throughout and this vehicle doesn’t need anything to be enjoyed right away.
A Serious Performer Both On Pavement & Off-Road
Overall, this 1988 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4X4 is believed to have an odometer that has rolled over to an indicated 154K mileage, however, the current owner feels very sure the motor must have had undocumented rebuild by a previous owner. He states the motor runs much to strong and tight, with absolutely no leaks whatsoever to be original mileage. This very well-maintained off-road vehicle that does everything well and looks good doing it.  With a conservative asking price, this example should find a new home quickly with an outdoor enthusiast or anyone seeking a fun weekend driver that can really turn some heads.  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10596 as well.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
