Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1965 Chevrolet Malibu SS Tribute! The Chevelle/Malibu is probably one of the most iconic muscle cars to have ever been produced. 1965 would be the beginning of its now well told story. The Chevelle was intended to compete with the Ford Fairlane, and Plymouth Belvedere, and to return to the Chevrolet lineup a model similar in size and concept to the popular 1955-57 models. This 65 is exactly that, from the engine to the transmission to the rear end it is all just a little better. The exterior of the car is done in a very clean white keeping the overall look of this Chevelle clean & crisp. The rally wheels look great, are believed original, and it gives the car that awesome stance. With what appears to be original sheet metal the fitment of the panels look within factory spec. Under the hood is the Chevrolet a 350 crate engine. The engine is mated to a 3-Speed automatic which allow this car to to have a nice balance of performance and cruising. The believed factory rear end is sure to handle the power thrown at it with a set of 3.70, giving you the greatest of both worlds. The deep exhaust note is courtesy of a full dual exhaust. Disc brakes have been added to front to help slow this baby back down after a spirited launch! The interior is very nice with the blue vinyl looking very nice against the blue carpet which really ties everything together. This Chevelle is equipped with AC (believed factory), so you will not only look cool driving this gorgeous car, but you will actually stay cool in the summer heat. An aftermarket AM/FM radio with CD player has been added, just in case you prefer music instead of the sweet sound this V8 makes. Current owner has had her for over 5 years. Mileage at 58k is believed original. Title is clean and clear and ready to be transferred into your name now! If you have wanted a first generation Malibu that isn't going to break the bank then this beauty is the one for you. Options on this 1965 Chevelle include; Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with CD player, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Rally Wheels, and Radial Tires. About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
