New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful, eye-catching 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport 2 Door Hardtop with Champagne Gold exterior paint and a matching gold vinyl interior. You’ll find a factory correct LS5 454 cid V-8 engine under the hood with a Posi rear end with 2.56 gears and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This outstanding example has been nicely optioned with power windows, air conditioning, tilt wheel, a rear window defroster, power front disc brakes, bucket seats, 15x8 Corvette Rallye wheels and so much more.
This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Hardtop is in phenomenal overall condition after a complete restoration and we have excellent documentation on hand such as the original owner’s manual and the factory build sheet.
Highly Original w/ Factory Correct 454 V-8 Motor
This 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport Hardtop is one of 3,823 SS examples from the model year and the current owner informs us that it originally sold in Tennessee. He has enjoyed it since 2008 and opted to fully restore it in the fall of 2014 back to factory specifications with the aforementioned upgrades. This example has been driven approximately 500 miles since that time and it offers tremendous, world-class performance identical to the 1970 Chevelle LS5 at approximately half the price.
Additionally, this 1970 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Hardtop presents excellent in person with tremendous body lines, excellent glass/trim and a very nicely restored correct interior. The gold exterior paint is also near flawless and really pops against the matching gold vinyl top. There are only the slightest of imperfections to find and this is easily one of the most impressive, factory correct examples that we have come across in years.
