Chevrolet Nova 383 Stroker V8 1965

General description : TRUE SS, 383 STROKER V8, TH350 AUTO, 4 WHL DISC PWR BRAKE, TCI FRONT, FORD 9"!

You love it when someone invests the right money to build a muscle car just like you would, and this incredible 1965 Chevy II Nova SS is a prime example. A beautiful blue outside and a well restored interior makes for a very nice classic. But underneath the surface beats a stroker V8 heart and a performance suspension.
Mist Blue is this coupe's original factory color but Chevy could never get it to look this awesome. It has the gloss and shine that comes from investing in a very professional application of the best modern paints. Plus, the power bulge in the hood is a great nod to the added performance, and we all love the sight of iconic torque thrust style wheels that are polished to a mirror-like shine. Those are nice custom pieces, but the rest of this fierce look comes from a careful restoration of the original GM steel. After all, that crease in the sheetmetal runs the full profile like an unbroken line. Plus, you get all the correct vintage Nova details like the correct Super Sport badging, full trim, and bright chrome bumpers front and rear. It's a head-turner for being both complete and custom.
Step inside for a great muscle car world of black and chrome. There was a serious investment here in getting the correct pieces to look factory fresh. The result is the intricate pattern on the bucket seats are crisp, the door panels are taut, and the carpeting feels fresh. You'll love other original pieces like the Super Sport specific center console, but this very cool Nova is far from stock. You know that when you grab the Chevy's three-spoke sports steering wheel and gaze at the full polished gauge panel that's full of new AutoMeter readouts. And while you have an upgraded AM/FM stereo, we really know your favorite soundtrack will come from the growl this SS can produce.
When you take this one to car shows, you'll never leave the hood down. That's because the 383 cubic-inch stroker motor is a true star. It has less than 200 miles on the whole build, and so that's why there's plenty of shine on components like the performance air grabber, cast valve covers, pulleys, radiator, alternator, master cylinder, and other pieces. But more than just look great, there's plenty of substance behind the shine. This V8 includes upgrades such as aluminum heads, roller rockers, performance intake, and a large Quick Fuel 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor. The long tube header package adds even more power as it feeds the thunderous dual exhaust – so they will all hear your power superiority. More than just pure power, this one was built to handle out on the streets, too. That's why you have a TH350 three-speed automatic transmission with a 2500 RPM stall to keep you in the best powerband. And this feeds a stout Ford 9-inch limited slip rear end with a 3.55 gears for great all-around performance. Up front there's a new TCI independent suspension featuring strong A-arms, polyurethane bushings, and a thick sway bar. There's even an upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes to give you the best in total control.
Complete with all the build receipts, rarely do you get the opportunity skip the restless construction process and go right to the fun of owning a street-eating muscle machine. But at this price, this exceptionally fresh Nova SS won't wait for long. Call now!

About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
