Chevrolet Nova 327 V8 1967

General description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this 1967 Chevrolet Nova SS. Let’s answer the main question everyone is asking themselves. Is it a “REAL” SS? The answer is…Yes, this is absolutely a real ‘67 Nova SS car with a 118 VIN number Super Sport. This is one of the most sought after Nova’s made. The body style for this Nova was only a two-year run. 1967 marked the last year of the shoebox Nova style. In 1968, Chevrolet would turn to a more rounded slant back body style. This is the type of Muscle Car one dreams about. Does it get any better than a Marina Blue ‘67 SS car? No! The paint glistens even though it was restored back in 1987. The chrome gleams accenting the aggressive Nova look these cars are known for. Add in the fact that it has Crager S/S wheels all the way around the car, keeping it true to its lineage. When you look inside, you will notice how nice of condition the black deluxe interior is in. Sporting the bucket seats with the SS console your eyes are drawn to the 4-speed shifter. Yes, you read correctly, 4-speed. The Muncie 4-speed manual transmission is the staple of any “true” muscle car. Also, located on the inside of this “Deuce Coupe” is A/C for those hot summer days cruising the town. Now to the most important part of any muscle car. What’s under the hood? What else would be under the hood other than a nicely built 327. Again, the same theme keeps popping up here; This is an authentic-real-true muscle car. The 327 is dressed and displays high performance upgrades, such as the Edlebrock Hi-rise and Holley carburetor. The snappy V8 motor with an attitude has camel hump heads and breathes through Flowmaster Exhaust. Options include AM/FM Radio with USB, A/C, Spare Tire, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Front Disc Brakes, Dual Mirrors, Tinted Glass, and a Cowl Hood. About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
