Chevrolet Nova 350 Ram Jet V8 1968

General description : FULL RESTO, RAM JET 350 V8, TH350 AUTO, A/C, PWR STEER/BRAKE, RUNS/DRIVES GR8!!!

This 1968 Chevrolet Nova just gets all the best stuff correct. It's the right bold color; it has all the right upgrades (like A/C); it's the right year; and the right power from the fuel-injected small block V8. So you know it's the right classic for you.
1968 was the first year of the new bodystyle and the last for the Chevy II name. That makes this a very desirable coupe even before you inspect the details. Originally spec'd as a Butternut Yellow, the new Lemon Ice is a great way to show that this coupe is modern while still respecting its heritage. This yellow is bolder than anything that could come out of the '60s, so this coupe instantly commands attention. When you get it out in the sunlight, the shine rolls off the straight panels with the kind of luster that makes you proud to show this one off. With a shimmer this nice only the best chrome will do on the wraparound bumpers. Plus, all this brightness is balanced out nicely with the blacked-out SS grille, rear panel, tinted windows, and full-length lower rockers. It's a total package that is out to announce it's a vintage muscle machine, and so this one is properly finished off with a set of iconic Cragar Keystone Classic 15-inch wheels.
The dark trim on the outside is also a preview of the interior. After all, nothing looks better against the bold yellow than a deep black. A new set of Procar bucket seats and a cup holder center console do a fantastic job of bringing modern comfort to this classic. The door panels, dash, carpeting, and headliner are all in excellent shape, and so they complete a rich, dark atmosphere. You'll slip behind the Chevy three-spoke sports steering wheel and gaze at the cool ultra-wide speedometer. The AutoMeter tach mounted on the column and the quad set of auxiliary gauges on the center console all tell you this is a special Nova. But this car is more than just pure speed. There are some subtle modern upgrades like the AM/FM/cassette stereo with a knob-style appearance hides a digital tuner. An upgrade you'll certainly love the best is the Vintage Air system that keep the whole car cool with modern R134a.
This is the kind of motor that can win you awards all on its own. The valve covers, master cylinder, intake, pulleys, and so much more have a mirror-like shine. In fact, we dare you to find one more component that can be polished! Plus, you've undoubtedly noticed how the valve covers, plug wires, and other components are trimmed in an exterior-matching yellow. That's just the kind of detail that tells you there was some real care when this car was restored. But beyond the great presentation is the substance of a Ram Jet 350 cubic-inch crate motor. The fuel-injected V8 is known for some serious power, and everyone within earshot will know it thanks to the growl of the header-fed dual exhaust. While it has the power to be a brute, this custom build is a lot more thoughtful. For example, it also has an aluminum radiator w/electric fan, so your big power V8 can stay cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping. Plus, features like Unisteer power rack & pinion, three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brakes are all the elements you want in a great driving classic.
Complete with owner's manual, build receipts, service manual, car cover, and more, there was a lot of time and money invested into making this Nova a cut-above classic (just check out how clean the undercarriage is.) Everything about this vintage coupe is right, which is why you have to act right now before it's gone. Call now!

About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
