Chevrolet Nova 396 1970

General description : Cruisin Classics would like to proudly offer up for consideration this REAL DEAL, MATCHING NUMBERS, 396CID-375HP, 22,436 ACTUAL MILE Title1970 Chevrolet Nova SS. You may verify from the pictures what we are stating. The SS verification comes from the 396-375 combo and it takes a matching number vehicle like ours to confirm that. Going to the new owner is also the Protect-o-Plate for this car.
Underneath the hood accompanying the 396 are stock components to include but not limited to intake manifold, 4 bbl carburetor, ignition, exhaust manifolds and more. Bringing a little bling to engine are the chrome valve covers, breather and master cylinder cover. The compartment itself is clean and managed with only the things necessary to keep it's originality. Paired with the Big Block is the Original Matching Numbers 4-speed, M-22 Muncie Rock Crusher transmission that will give you an honest way to enjoy your rare classic and also a way to make the dual exhaust system sound like moving muscle from days gone by. The 12 bolt rear end has a high probability of being original from the pictured date code verification.
Inside you will find a black bucket seat interior. From headliner to carpet you can see that it has been taken care of with conviction. The shifter on the floor is in the right spot for a fun drive. The dash and cushioned deck lid are untouched by the weather and crack free.
The exterior brings a lot to the table like the SS hood, laser straight sides, SS rally wheels on all 4's surrounded by Cooper Cobra radial G/T's. The power brakes are discs in the front and drums in the rear. While the paint looks awesome in the pictures, it does have some imperfections. It is not show quality. That would be up to the new owner to determine and take the necessary steps to the level that is best suitable for them.
This car is a collector or enthusiasts unicorn. Behold...Original Matching Numbers engine and transmission, extremely low mileage, a REAL SS and it runs like a dream... Pretty much a no-brainer.

About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
