Description : This bad to the bone 1966 Chevrolet Nova Pro Street Wagon is offered for sale by Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa. This car is completely custom and started off as a 4 door that was professionally transformed into a wagon and tubbed out then a roll cage was added. The paint theme is truly gorgeous with a two-toned Metallic Blue and Silver with Green and Orange painted on stripes. The offset Weld Racing rims wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires add to the style of this sharp of a Nova. This is one mean car that is set up to be the ultimate street beast. Powering this Chevy II is a Supercharged 372 CID V8 engine mated to a TCI Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission and pushing the power to the ground through a Dana 60 rear end with 3:73 gears. The built has about 1400 miles driven since being completed and its just broken in. The current owner did document the receipts from the very expensive drivetrain build to help show the quality of the components used. This car can be set up with the large air breather and hood removed or the small air cleaner and the hood installed, both unique looks are sleek. Some notable engine parts include a TBS Supercharger from The Blower Shop, Doug's Long Tube Headers, Aluminum radiator, electric fan, dual quad Holley Carburetors, Air Flow research valve covers, braded fuel lines, side exhaust system, and so much more! The interior is simple but complete with two sport bucket cloth seats with 3 point harness seat belts, Hurst ratchet shifter, Carbon fiber wrapped roll cage and interior accents, a fire extinguisher, tilt steering wheel, battery box in rear, and the exposed fuel cell. If you want something fast that can run on 93 pump gas or racing fuel, something that scares kids as you roll by, and something that turns heads anywhere it goes, look no further than this '66 Pro Street Wagon.

About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
