Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this clean 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II. This car is a a Chevy II lover's dream. Small light and stuffed full of motor! This car was a long-time ground up restoration/street-rod project of the previous owner. Everything was replaced or reconditioned, including the body being stripped to bare medal and any rot or age-related damage was replaced or repaired, then it was painted white. The interior was finished in fresh black vinyl with new door cards, black carpet and custom black buckets and headliner, with a black dash cap over new gauges. A custom center console was added and houses a Hurst Pistol Grip Shifter. This ultra clean, 2 door hardtop, Chevy II sits on staggered black, 15" JEGs wheels for a sinister look. Under the hood is a Weiland 671 supercharged, 350 small-block, which sends power through a built Turbo 350 transmission. This little street rod has plenty of power and has no issue getting out of its own way. Fortunately, the suspension was updated for the extra power. First an aftermarket subframe was added with tubular front control arms, non-power disk brakes and a modern steering rack. Thanks to the skinny tires, this little chevy II steers and turns just fine. The chrome on this car is amazing as well, with no chips, pits, or blemishes. This car is a awesome cruiser and show car. The attention to detail is top notch and it has great curb appeal. Hurry and park this 66 chevy II in your garage. You'll be the envy of all your neighbors!

About Chevrolet Nova
The Chevy Nova is a compact car that was produced by Chevrolet from 1962 to 1979, and again from 1985 to 1988. While it was not initially marketed as a muscle car, it was offered with a range of powerful engines that made it a popular choice among enthusiasts.

In particular, the Nova SS (Super Sport) was a high-performance version of the car that was equipped with a range of performance upgrades, including larger engines, heavy-duty suspension, and upgraded brakes. The most notable engine options included the 327 cubic inch V8 and the 396 cubic inch V8, both of which produced impressive horsepower figures.

The Nova SS was a popular choice for drag racing, and it became a symbol of the burgeoning muscle car scene in the 1960s. It was known for its simple and lightweight design, which made it a popular choice among racers looking to modify and tune their cars for maximum performance.

Today, the Chevy Nova is still a popular classic car, with enthusiasts drawn to its simple and stylish design, as well as its impressive performance capabilities. While it may not be as well-known as some of the more iconic muscle cars from the era, the Nova remains a significant part of American automotive history and a beloved classic among collectors and enthusiasts.
