Chevrolet Pick Up 350 V8 1937

General description : 1937 Chevrolet Pickup Street Rod Nice, nice, nice! Just a super well-built, award winning 1937 Chevy pickup that has been totally customized and done right. Complete build book and receipts go with the truck. LESS THAN 1,000 MILES! It is powered by a 350ci V-8, Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetors and intake manifold decked out with aluminum accessories including head covers, air cleaner, coated headers and all components right through to a custom dual exhaust out the back. This truck will make anyone shudder just hearing it rev up! The engine is coupled to a 350 Turbo transmission that gets the power to the ground geared perfectly for strip or street. The exterior is done in a stunning, show quality paint job of silver and violet with wood on the running boards and in the bed surrounded by stainless steel accents. The front fenders and running boards are fiberglass but the rest is steel. The doors are reversed in a suicide manner and open and shut better than they could ever have been built in the factory. Handles have been shaved with poppers to open, custom front turn signals and a chrome front grille. She sits on a Mustang II suspension and air bags controlled from the cockpit allowing you to set your perfect stance whether sitting at a show or drive in…rise them up for a great ride down the road at any speed. It stops on a dime with discs in the front and drums in the rear sitting on American Racing 16’s in the front and 17’s on the back with fresh Kumho Hi-Po tires all around. The interior is totally custom as well with new leather seats, overhead console, power wipers, power windows vintage heat and leather bucket seats. The same wood is carried inside of the cab just like it is outside. Also set and wired for a custom stereo system that we will buy and install at our wholesale cost if interested. New carpet is installed and cut to fit perfect as well. The truck is ready to just start and go out on the road! Nothing better than pulling in, hitting the switches and dropping it down in front of everyone! Offered at $49,500.00 which is less than half of the build and a third of what it would cost now! This car is located and being represented for a collector in the Seattle, Washington area.

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
