Description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1987 Chevrolet S10! The 80s and 90s vehicles are climbing in value noticeably quicker than the preceding generations. This S10 has been tastefully maintained and upgraded. Take your time with the listing and really get to know this mean machine.

The original engine has been replaced with a stronger, bigger, and more powerful 350 V8, holly fuel injected system. The engine has a tasteful amount of upgrades including an upgraded camshaft, TBI fuel injection, dual exhaust, and a new high flow water pump.

Some additional items from the goodie list include a posi-traction rear end, dual piston brake calipers, air conditioning, tilt wheel, new US Mag wheels, new upper/lower control arms, new coil springs, new Belltech 2" drop spindles, Belltech 3" lowering leaf springs w/ new Belltech shocks, new Caltrac traction bars, a big sway bar, quick ratio steering box, high pressure power steering pump, and a new alternator. While this list hits the big items it is not fully inclusive of the work done.

The above is a decent list to attest to the driving experience and tasteful modifications. Most people are not in the market for a 1987 S10 to be a garage princess, but condition is still important. Overall, both the exterior and interior are in good to great condition. In terms of paint chips, the largest collection of them is on the front of the vehicle. The interior looks and even smells like a well-kept or recently restored example.

For us, this truck hits a sweet spot. Most of us are in the hobby for the fun of the drive. This truck delivers on that experience in spades. For a full-frame vehicle it feels very nimble and planted - mostly thanks to the upgraded suspension and more powerful V8. This truck offers a great combination of classic styling, truck utility, and reasonable reliability. During the 80s and 90s most vehicle became A LOT more reliable. Be one of the first and enjoy this classic S10 on the curvy blacktop where it belongs!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
