Chevrolet Silverado 1980

General description : For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this beautiful 1980 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Short-Bed Truck. You are looking at a truck that lived its first 13 years in California. In 1993 the truck was bought from its second owner who relocated the truck to Florida. 38 years later we are proud to feature this beauty in our South Florida showroom. C10’s out of the ‘80s are becoming more popular from day to day because you could still drive them on a daily base. They are well optioned and comfortable to drive. This example of a C10 is the one you want. With only 2 owners you will have a hard time to find a better and nicer one for the buck. Let’s start of with the exterior. The straight body is wrapped in a brown and white color scheme. Just beautiful and a head turner in this color combination. The chrome and trim all look great. Look in the bed and you will immediately know that this truck was never used as a work horse. The interior was redone 1 year ago and there is only three words that describes the inside = clean; clean; clean!!! Open the hood and you will find a 350ci V8 mated to a 400 Turbo transmission that were rebuild and have just a little over 12k miles on the clock. One of the best parts of this truck is when you peak underneath it. There is no doubt that this a real California truck. We were crawling underneath the C10 and we were amazed. Everything looks super solid. The Chevy drives as good as it looks. Turn the key and the truck is ready to go where your destination is. A dependable two owner truck that is ready for #3. Continue the good care and this car will go another 40 years with ease. Ready to go – a must see and drive – and yes, this one should fit in your garage. Let it ride!!! About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
