Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe 307 V8 1951

General description : This 1951 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe has a complete and vintage shining look on the outside. But as you dig a little deeper, you discover all the best upgrades for everyday driving. The Olds V8, overdrive transmission, and comfy A/C interior headline a total package built to make this very classic Chevy also a terrific anytime cruiser.
An early '50s Chevy like this has the curvy fender look of pure rolling nostalgia. The paint keeps some of the spirit of the car's original Thistle Gray, but this silver is a modern application with a clearcoat shine and a nice metallic element. After all, your nostalgia is often brighter than it ever was the first time around. And speaking of bright, the chrome was certainly given a solid investment with the bumpers, grille, bezels, and trim all looking mirror-like. More than just looking radiant, you'll appreciate the quality in the details. It's in the clarity of the glass, pliable weather-stripping, and the way the doors close with confidence. It makes for an excellent classic-style cruiser, right down to the details, like the windshield sunshade, fender skirts, and whitewalls.
The interior really starts to show how this one merges true vintage with the best in comfort features. The seat is a classic bench setup but now it's done in a plush velour with stylish diamond-stitch inserts. The door panels, headliner, and carpeting all have a quality feel. The dash retains a stock look. There's even the factory style AM radio, but now it's built to accept FM stations. Other worthwhile upgrades are a little more obvious like the proper 12-volt outlet and the under-dash cold-blowing air conditioning. The steering wheel is borrowed from a later 1950s Chevy, and now it's mounted on a tilt column. That gives you a clear view to the full upgraded Beede gauge package.
Under the hood is a 307 cubic-inch V8 with Rochester four-barrel carburetor on top. This upgrade is an Oldsmobile motor, and it's just like the kind you would have found in a G-body Cutlass Supreme. And that kind of cool cruiser is exactly how this has been built to be. That's why you also have upgrades like power brakes with front discs, power steering, and the four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. And when you have a car that fires up readily, runs smoothly, and shifts easily, it's quite a comfortable all-around driver. Even those classic whitewalls hide a modern and grippy tread on the tires. You also have chassis and suspension components donated from a G-body as well! So this one looks like a true vintage machine, but you really understand how much easier it is to enjoy this one for journeys near or far.
This Chevy has the awesome look of nostalgia and the best upgrades so that you can enjoy this everywhere. It's a total package classic that you need to get your hands on right now. Call today!!!

About Chevrolet
Chevrolet aka Chevy, founded in 1911 by Louis Chevrolet and William C. Durant is the best selling and biggest brand by General Motors -mainly due to low pricing.

No wonder Chevy the "working man's car" has become such an iconic part of Americana in films and pop-culture.

When talking about Chevy one must not ignore Chevrolet small-block V8 the world's most produced engine that has been in production since 1955 and still going strong.

Surprisingly, "America's only sports car" Corvette was introduced under Chevrolet brand rather than its own. To us the most memorable Corvette has to be The second generation (C2) Corvette, Sting Ray.

To compete with VW Beatle Chevrolet introduced Corvair a compact automobile built in 1960–1969 It was the only American designed, mass-produced passenger car to feature a rear-mounted air-cooled engine. Corvair handling was deemed notoriously bad mainly due to Ralph Nader's Unsafe at Any Speed. Although, any handling issues were soon solved the reputation did stick.

With Pony / Muscle car mania taking over the Americans, following the introduction of Ford Mustang, Chevrolet came up with one of its most famous models Camaro. During the first year alone they managed to sell 220,906 Camaros.
