The Citroën CX is an executive car produced by the French automaker Citroën from 1974 to 1991. Its name CX is the French equivalent abbreviation of Cd for drag coefficient in English, drawing attention to the car’s aerodynamic styling, which was uncommon in 1974.
Our CX 2400 GTi is presented in extraordinary condition, beautifully finished in its original Beige Opale paintwork which complements the striking bodywork, which itself is in superb condition. The CX’s interior is both luxurious and stylish, it is upholstered with lovely Chocolate Brown velour cloth which shows little signs of wear and the matching Brown carpets appear unworn. It is clear that this Citroen has been lovingly maintained over the course of its life, working on the button, this beautiful car is ready to be enjoyed by its new owner.
Hailing from the Pyrenees in Southern France, the first owner kept the car until 2014, when due to ill-health the owner had to pass on the car. The next owner, who was himself a Citroen dealer and whose sticker still shines on the boot lid, maintained the car himself in the incredible condition that it is offered for sale in today. Comfortably equipped with air conditioning, central locking and electric windows this is a fabulous and useable French classic.

About Citroen
French industrialist André Citroën had been building arms for the French army during WWI by the end of the war he was left with great industrial facilities but no product for the post war market. In 1919 he founded Citroen that became the first mass-production car company outside the USA[3] and a pioneer of the modern marketing as well as factory backed services network. Mind you, even Eiffel Tower served as a billboard for Citroën from 1925 to 1934 -Mon Dieu, monsier!
Soon Citroën earned a reputation for innovation and revolutionary engineering. Staying true to their slogan "Créative Technologie" Citroën has many "firsts" under their belt:
