Description : Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this beautiful 1965 Dodge A100 pickup truck in red and white.

The Dodge A100 series, first introduced in 1964, was a range of compact vans and trucks that quickly became a symbol of American strength and dependability. One of the defining features of the A100 series was the unique location of the engine. Unlike most trucks of the time, the engine was placed between and slightly behind the driver and passenger seats, a design known as a "forward control" or "cab over" vehicle. This not only gave the A100 a distinctive look but also improved its weight distribution, handling, and cargo capacity.

The motor itself is a smooth running 225 inline 6. With its vibrant red exterior, comfortable vinyl interior, and a range of practical features, it's ready haul in style.

1965 Dodge A-100 Pickup Truck 6 Cyl 225 CID I6 is listed for sale on ClassicDigest in Coral Springs by Gateway Classic Cars - Ft. Lauderdale for $23000.

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
