Dodge Charger 440 V8 1969

General description : Matching Numbers 440 Block Tremec 5 Speed Factory AC PS PDBUp for sale we have a 1969 Dodge Charger RT. When restored this car was pulled apart and put on a rotisserie. We have photo documentation of the restoration along with numerous receipts. This resto was meticulously done resulting in one of the straightest bodies you'll see on the market today. Down the sides are laser straight and all the hood, trunk, and door gaps are excellent. It's covered in the Black Paint scheme that's accented by the White RT Stripe and Black Vinyl Top. The paint has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine that slick as a ribbon with a mirror finish. Both of the bumpers on this '69 appear to have been replaced and are in like new condition. The rest of the chrome and stainless is in great condition with some aging to the tail light bezels. All the glass is in great condition as well and appears factory with exception of the front windshield which looks to have been replaced. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15” Magnum 500 Wheels with 245/60 BF Goodrich White Letter Tires.
On the inside, it's done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior. It features front bucket seats and console that houses the Five Speed Shifter. The seat covers have all been replaced and are like new with the padding being great. As for the door panels, they're also done in black and have been replaced. You'll notice that this Charger has Power Windows and they all work. The carpet and headliner have also been replaced and both have a great fit. Looking at the dash you'll see a new pad has been installed. The gauges look original and show some age, but all of them are working with exception of the clock. Even the original style Radio and AC controls are working.
Under the hood it features the matching numbers 440 block. It's set up with an Edelbrock Intake and Thunder Series Edelbrock Carb that's dressed in an Aluminum Mopar Breather with matching valve covers. The 440 is mated to the Tremec Five Speed that's mated to the Sure Grip 8 ¾” Rear End. For Exhaust, it has headers with Dual Pipes and Dynomax Mufflers. This Charger is a factory Air Conditioned car that has been upgraded to the 134A. Also, it comes with Power Steering and Power Brakes with Disc up front and drum on the rear. New brakes lines have been installed along with new fuel lines, and the gas tank has been replaced. When you look under this '69 you will be impressed with all the floors and frame as they were highly detailed when the rotisserie restoration was done.

About Dodge
Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.

By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928. Dodge found a niche Chrysler Corporation lineup above low-priced Plymouth and medium-priced DeSoto, but somewhat below the top-of-the-line Chrysler
