There was a huge movement in the early 60’s with people wanting sleeker and really less sophisticated designs. No more fins but more simplistic designs were the rage. This started pre-world war 2 but died off as quick as it began. Fast forward 3 decades and as it usually does history was repeating itself. Introduce the new for 66 Dodge Charger. It was what everyone wanted but that long sleek design came at a hefty price, 3100 base to be exact. That is one of the reasons not many 67’s was built and with only 27 having a HEMI this is a super rare car to say the least. Oh, that’s right this 60000 mile beauty has the HEMI sitting upfront. This 67 is sure to garner attention no matter where it goes especially with its understated black paint and matching wheel combo. Under the hood is really where the story goes from typical to out of this world. Naturally you can tell right away its a HEMI with its wide displacement there’s no mistaking it. Matched up to the 727 torque flite transmission this car truly has collector piece written all over it. Open the door and the interior is exactly as it should be. The front to back console is an awesome touch making the car a true 4 seaters. With the shifter, right where it should be this thing is classic muscle car at its finest.
