General description :
For sale in our Fort Lauderdale Showroom is this beautiful 1964 Dodge 880 Custom Convertible. The Dodge Custom 880 was produced from 1962 through 1965. The 880 and Custom 880 received their most significant and final redesign of the 1960 body for 1964. Dodge did really well with the 880 series, 31,800 were sold in 1964. 52 years later this 880 Custom Convertible rolled into our showroom here in south Florida and she is still in good shape. A very nice driver with just one crack in the paint on the trunk. Other than that she is beautiful. For sure the coolest story about her is the push button transmission. The 880 comes with following options: Am Radio; Power Convertible Top (works great); Hub Caps; Power Brakes; Power Steering; Vinyl Interior; White Wall Tires; Radial Tires. She drives very good and is ready for new adventures. You won’t see a lot of them on the road or at car shows. This would be a great classic for somebody who is looking for something different and beautiful. A lot of car for the money and a great investment. Wir sprechen deutsch. Let it roll!!!

Dodge Brothers Company, founded by Horace and John Dodge in 1900, initially produced components for car manufacturers. In 1914 they stepped into car manufacturing when introducing four-cylinder Dodge Model 30 with all-steel body and 12v electric system.
By 1920 Dodge had become the second biggest car manufacturer in the USA, unfortunately the same year both of the brothers died, the company in turn to was sold to Chrysler Corporation in 1928.
