General description : Fiat 500 Autobianchi Giardiniera 1973 In very good condition
Highlights
- Giardiniera station version
- In good condition
- Sunroof
- Nice green paintwork
- Extra fog lights
From 1960 to 1975 Fiat produced the successful 500. The station model became known as "Giardiniera". From 1965 the production of the Giardiniera was moved to Autobianchi, in the Northern Italian town of Desio. The car retained its typical "suicide doors" and was produced at Autobianchi until 1977. This very beautiful Giardiniera was produced in 1973. The car has a very nice green paint and forms a nice appearance in combination with the sunroof. The car is equipped with the 2-cylinder 499cc engine with a power of 22 hp. Not only technically, but also optically, the car is in very good condition. The interior is as new and thanks to its cognac color a wonderful combination with the color of the paint. You are very welcome to come and see this Fiat 500 Giardiniera in our showroom!

About Fiat
Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (FIAT to you and I) was founded by Giovanni Agnelli in 1899. Their first car 3 ½ CV had a strong resembledence to contemporary Benz, only 25 examples were built. By 1910 Fiat had established itself as Italia's biggest car manufacturer and expanded to the US, where a new plant was built in Poughkeepsie, NY.

At that time Fiat cars were big and luxurious barges for the wealthy or barking mad racing cars like S76 , The beast of Turin, with its 290HP 28.5-liter, four-cylinder engine.

However, today Fiat is better reknown for its small symphatic peoples carriers, Topolino, 500 "Cinquecento" and 600.

What ever your favorite Fiat is, you'll find it for sale here at www.classicdigest.com
