Fiat Dino Coupé 2400 Coupé (1970) – 26,300mls – 41 years with first owner – mostly original paint 1970

General description : This vehicle was imported from Italy  in 2011. The first owner in Italy, Sergio G., registered it in Bologna on May 27th, 1970 with the registration number BO416824. He owned this car for 41 years !!The 2nd owner in Germany bought this Fiat Dino in 2011 and exchanged it for a Maserati with us in 2013.The 3rd owner, also from Germany, drove it another 5,000 km and also had a lot of fun with this beautiful Fiat. He procured a contemporary radio and looked after and cherished this very original Fiat Dino in an exemplary manner. Only because of lack of time does he part with his dream car with a heavy heart. And so we are pleased that we can present this icon for the 3rd time in our hall. This Fiat is largely in its original condition. Most of the paintwork is the original. The engine and the gearbox are of course “matching”. The excellent gaps allow the conclusion that this dinosaur never had an accident. The engine starts at first request, the 5-speed gearbox shifts superbly, the new chassis and renewed brakes are without complaint. The velour interior is in very good condition, the dashboard is original and without cracks. Door panels are very good. The paintwork is still very neat for the time, although slight heat blisters can be seen on the roof. Here the new owner has to decide whether the original paint should be retained or our painter partially repaints the roof with a very thin layer of paint. The history is complete. It is a Fiat Dino 2400 Coupé in a rare colour scheme, with a wonderful story and an impressive original condition.DUE TO BREXIT THERE IS THE RISK OF HAVING TO PAY A CLASSIC CAR TAX BETWEEN 5-12% DEPENDING ON THE COUNTRY FOR CARS UK/EU OR EU/UK – I CAN OFFER AN OPTIONAL DOOR TO DOOR SERVICE AVOIDING THE EXTRA TAX COST THIS CAR IS LOCATED IN GERMANY and sold on behalf of the owner. About Fiat
Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (FIAT to you and I) was founded by Giovanni Agnelli in 1899. Their first car 3 ½ CV had a strong resembledence to contemporary Benz, only 25 examples were built. By 1910 Fiat had established itself as Italia's biggest car manufacturer and expanded to the US, where a new plant was built in Poughkeepsie, NY.

At that time Fiat cars were big and luxurious barges for the wealthy or barking mad racing cars like S76 , The beast of Turin, with its 290HP 28.5-liter, four-cylinder engine.

However, today Fiat is better reknown for its small symphatic peoples carriers, Topolino, 500 "Cinquecento" and 600.

What ever your favorite Fiat is, you'll find it for sale here at www.classicdigest.com
