Ford F-100 Stepside 302 V8 1968

General description : Description
Sleek paint, cool stepside lines, and upgraded V8 power all come together to make this 1968 Ford F-100 one of those classic truck deals with an irresistibility that goes well beyond the value price.
We love the stepsides from this era because it represents something different. The style first came from the original pickups, and so it will always have vintage appeal. But ones from the era of muscle cars means the curvy rear fenders make us think more about power. That's especially true for one like this that has been given an upgrade to a more modern Aqua Blue. It has a metallic element that loves to show off this pickup's design lines. This one also has the right elements of added style, like the color-matched wheels, chrome bumpers, and stylish lumber on the bed floor. And more than just look sporty, this one has nice practical details, like newer window rubber and the gas tank moved to the rear.
Open the door, and you'll find a crisp black interior. The seat, carpeting, dash pad, and headliner all show the clean look of a solid investment, so this is a nice place to spend some time. There are a few other upgrades, including a AM/FM/CD stereo (will need to be hooked up,) but the real feeling you're going to like are the vintage details. There's a proper heater, and the classic thin/grippy Ford steering wheel that really makes you feel like you're taking command of this truck.
1968 was the debut year for the now-famous 302 cubic-inch displacement, and so it feels extra special to have this V8 in this truck. And because we love them for their upgradeable nature, this one has a Holley four-barrel carburetor, high-flow intake, and shorty headers feeding a dual exhaust. It's a strong-running package that's ready to hit the road. That's why it also has easy driving features like a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and wide Cooper Cobra tires.
This is the year, style, and price you want. So you know it's a deal that's not going to wait long. Call today!!!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
