Here we have a 1957 Ford F100 for sale. This was the first year for the third generation F100, and it brought with it the styleside bed that forever changed what the bed options on trucks. It was also the only year that optioned the single headlight for the third gen. The one we have for you has been done a beautiful two-tone color scheme and is great driver. Don't miss out on your chance to drive back in time with this F100. Looking across the front we can see the single headlight option on the corners along with the iconic grill that was the last year to sport the iconic V8 Emblem. The body on it is all rock solid with excellent fit of the panels. All the body lines flow beautiful from the front to the rear. Down the sides are straight and we can see that the bed is in great condition as well. Inside the bed was done in black spray in liner. The two-tone Torch Red and Colonial White color scheme is does a great job of showcasing the body on this '57. All the glass in this '57 is beautiful, with all the seals and weather stripping being in good condition. Both bumpers are done in black and are also very nice. To finish off the exterior its sitting on steel wheels with the factory style center caps and Hankook White Wall Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Pick Up. On the inside it's done in the two tone Red and White Color Combo that flows perfectly with the exterior. The doors are done in red and have the red panel. Both side windows go up and down as they should. This '57 features the bench seat that's in great condition from the seat cover to the springs and padding. Looking at the dash it looks to have been kept stock with the factory gauges that are working as they should. It also has the factory style steering wheels that been wrapped. This is a 3 Speed manual truck with the on-column shifter. We can see that the cab pans are all solid and have been detailed out in black.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the 272 Engine that's been cleaned and detailed out in the Red Paint. It's dressed in the original air cleaner along with the factory style valve covers that are done in black. This '57 also has the factory manifolds with the cross over pipe with single pipe & muffler. Inside the engine bay we can see that the inner fenders and firewall are all rock solid. When we look under it, we can see that everything is just as solid as the rest of the truck. The frame shows no signs of abuse, and all the pans are solid along with the cab corners. This '57 comes with standard brakes and steering. On the highway it goes through the gears smooth and will have you driving back in time every time you sit down.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
