Rare &Desirable 1929 Ford A Closed Cab Pickup New to our Fairfield showroom is this rare and desirable 1929 Ford A 1/2 Ton Closed Cab 2 Door Pickup with a four-cylinder flathead engine (40 HP/128 ft-lbs of torque) and a manual transmission. This period correct classic has features such as a tilt-out windshield, a beautiful wood-grain bed and modern headlights, and it’s been finished with modern Ford emblems and badging throughout. This amazing vehicle has just over 400 miles on it since a complete restoration as well, so it’s in great shape and ready to enjoy. Ground-Up Restoration by Lee Vintage in Sacramento, CA The current owner of this 1929 Ford A Pickup tells us that it underwent a multi-year, frame off restoration several years back and it hasn’t seen a drop of water since that time. In fact, he explicitly told us that he cleans the vehicle with a spray bottle and a lint-free cloth to keep it in absolutely immaculate condition throughout, and this one could easily pass for new all over again. From the show quality paint to the excellent body lines to the incredible attention to detail throughout, you’re going to fall in love with this classic. Additionally, the 1929 Ford A was the first-ever closed cab vehicle designed specifically as a truck. While the drivetrain is not original, this beautiful example has been kept as period correct as possible yet solid enough to drive daily, so it’s a very tasteful upscale build. This pickup has also won first place at the Sacramento Autorama Car Show back in 2008 and it gets jaw-dropping stares wherever it goes.
