Ford Mustang 351 Windsor V8 1969

General description : BOSS 302 TRIBUTE, 351W V8, PWR STEER/BRAKE, AMAZING PAINT, RUNS/DRIVES GR8, WOW!

The 1969 Ford Mustang is arguably the best year for the first-generation coupes. So when you take one of these sleek machines and restore it with bright modern paint, suspension upgrades, and a powerful 351 V8 with dual four-barrels... you soon realize you're looking at one of those rare turn-key classics that has style AND substance.
Let's start with the paint that's instantly grabbing your attention. The Boss 302 Mustang might be famous for Grabber Orange, but this tribute car really takes it to a new level. Tangelo Pearl has deeper tones and has a ton of metallic element to make sure that everyone notices the moment sunlight hits this fastback. In fact, the only pieces to shine brighter are the mirror-like bumpers and Billet Specialties 17-inch wheels. This one definitely goes for the meaner end of the pony car crowd as the Boss-inspired C-channel side stripes and blacked-out hood coordinate very well with the blacked-out grille, rear window slats, and spoiler. Plus, the hood pins and hood scoop are big hints at the power lurking underneath (more on that in a moment.)
The forceful attitude continues with an all-black interior. From the door panels, to the seats, to the center console, to the dash - everything in this Mustang looks deep and dark. But Ford also was going for a premium attitude during this time, that's why midnight attitude is broken up by wood paneling on all of these surfaces, too. Plus, the exterior-matching orange accent stripe in the high-back bucket seats are like dawn breaking over the horizon. This is setup nicely for the driver with a T-bar shifter for your right hand, and an upgraded Grant wood and chrome steering wheel for your left one. Beyond that is a full set of AutoMeter Phantom gauges nicely integrated into the dash. This is another indication of something special under the hood.
The engine bay looks fantastic. The smooth Tangelo paint and tidy setup can win awards all on its own. And that's before you take a look at the V8. With the air topper, Boss valve covers, alternator, pulleys, Monte Carlo bar, and so much more looking this good, we dare you to find another component that could be polished to a mirror-like shine. Beyond the style is the substance of a 351 cubic-inch motor topped with two Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors. Plus, this has an MSD ignition, an aluminum radiator, and long tube headers that add even more power as they contribute to the thunder of the Flowmaster dual exhaust. But don't just listen to growl; follow it in the undercarriage photos. There you'll spot plenty of fresh upgrades like the large front sway bar, Competition Engineering traction bars, newer bushings, and Wilwood drilled & slotted four-wheel disc brakes. You'll love showing off this midnight coupe everywhere thanks to easy driving features such as power steering, three-speed automatic transmission, and the grip of modern low profile tires.
A clean and mean appearance backed up by a robust heart. All the hard work is done. Now all you have to do is be the first one to get here and turn the key. Call now!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
