Ford Mustang Fastback S Code 429 cui 450 PS 1968

General description : Hier biete ich ihnen einen besonderen Mustang GT Fastback an mit einen sehr seltenen weil auch schwierigen Umbau auf den brutalen 429 er Big Block von Ford mit über 400 PS. Dieser Fastback wurde ab Werk als 390 er Big Block ausgeliefert also ein echter S Code Big Block.

Er wurde wieder in seinen Originallack lackiert nach der Restauration, Acapulco Blue die schwarze Innenausstattung wurde ebenfalls beibehalten. Es ist ebenfalls ein echter GT ab Werk kein Nachbau. Es ist ein Marti Report vorhanden der die ganzen tollen Ausstattungsmerkmale verifiziert und auch das originale Build Tag, Dash Tag und Door Tag. Kommen wir aber nun zu dem unglaublich gut gemachten Umbau auf den 429 er Big Block Motor welcher mit einen Heavy Duty C6 Getriebe gepaart wurde was den Vortrieb wirklich ordentlich auf die Straße bringt in Verbindung mit der Ford Hinterachse. Dazu wurde ein verstärktes Fahrwerk verbaut und die Karosse so verstärkt das es dem Big Block Motor und seiner brachialen Leistung gerecht wird.

Der Motor und das Getriebe wurde überholt vor dem Einbau und sind seitdem knapp 350 meilen bewegt worden.

Der Motor leistet ca. 450 PS da er ein wenig modifiziert wurde. Es ist ein sehr dicker Ordner mit allen Rechnungen usw. vorhanden über die Restauration. Die Ausstattung ist sehr umfangreich mit dem Sperrdifferential, klappbare Rücksitzbank, Mittelkonsole, Scheibenbremsen mit Bremskraftverstärker, Servolenkung , AM Radio und Deluxe Gurte so wie die seltene GT Equipment Gruppe.

About Ford

Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
