Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a real deal, Marti Report Verified, 05-M code, 1970 Ford Mustang Mach1. With just over 60,000 actual miles, this icon of muscle cars has weathered the test of time. It has all of the original panels and is true to it's factory color of T Candy Apple Red.
The original engine was rebuilt about 7 years ago (we have pictures) and the transmission has been replaced with a Tremec 5 speed World Class transmission. (T-5) The original automatic trans' can go with the car. Ask us about that matter. The M code 351 Cleveland (9H9= August 9th, 1969) with a 4 barrel runs fantastic and with the pairing of the new transmission make it a very fun car to drive AND freeway friendly. 3.50 gears. Trans Lock Rear with Posi.
Inside you will be amazed with a Black bucket seat interior, Black carpet, headliner and would-grain dash. The door panels show very little signs of wear. In general, the interior is in exceptional condition. No disappointments here.
The exterior is quite a beautiful sight. The Candy Apple Red is one of the best classic colors for the Mach 1. It was repainted 21 years ago and is driver quality. The operational cowl hood accents the Black hood stripe with the 351 numeral on both sides as well as driver facing turn signal indicaters on the cowl. Another accent is the Black front chin scoop that adds a serious muscle look. The TA Light wheels give it a new modern look but you can have the choice of them OR the original wheels. B F Goodrich Radial T/A's on all 4's.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
