Beautiful, Well-Maintained 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback
New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1970 Ford Mustang 2 Door Fastback with orange exterior paint, black striping and a black vinyl interior.  You’ll find a 351 Cleveland 4V V-8 engine under the hood with a 9” Posi rear end and an FMX automatic transmission.  This highly desirable classic muscle car is in tremendous overall condition as well with subtle modernizations such as a hood tachometer, Bluetooth stereo and a backup camera system.
With striking curb appeal and excellent documentation with a full Marti report on file, this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback must be seen in person to truly appreciate.
Restored Drivetrain in 2012, Fresh Paint & Posi Rear End
This 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback originates from Napa, California and the current owner has enjoyed it dating back to the year 2000.  It does appear to be a highly original example with a solid maintenance history and documentation on file.  The current owner informs us that the drivetrain was rebuilt in 2002 and driven approximately 20,000 miles since that time, plus the Posi rear end was rebuilt in 2012 and new paint was sprayed in 2017.  It does not require anything to be enjoyed right away.
In terms of present condition, this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback shows excellent in person with clean body lines and show-quality exterior paint, chrome and trim.  There are a few subtle imperfections to the exterior but nothing that detracts from the overall curb appeal of this muscle car.  Additionally, the interior does not appear to be restored and it is typical of a high-end driver in quality.  The engine bay also has an unrestored, factory-correct appearance.
Out on the open road, this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback has very nice acceleration and handles exactly like you’d expect from a well-sorted example.  It has plenty of power to the wheels at any speed and most would consider this a high-end driver that’s clean enough for local shows and events.  With working factory gauges plus the added hood tachometer, this example is ready to be driven aggressively and enjoyed along the California coastline.
An Excellent Value at the Current Listing Price
Overall, this 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback is a highly original investment-grade example that’s been maintained at the highest possible levels since it’s restoration back in 2002.  It is an excellent value at the current asking price and it should find a new home quickly- come see it for yourself today!  For more information about this vehicle, visit our Pleasanton, California showroom, give us a call at 925-484-2262, or email us at Sales@SpecialtySales.com.  Be sure to mention Stock # P10629 as well.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
