Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 Windsor V8 1969

General description : Description
This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is the mean-looking classic with all the features you really want. This means you have sleek paint on the outside, a highly authentic interior that also has cold-blowing A/C, and you get proper control over the 351 V8 with four-on-the-floor.
This fastback is an instant standout in Gulfstream Aqua. It's a 1969-corret color that this one was upgraded to later in life. So you get the right feeling for a classic, but with a glossy modern shine. It's a well-integrated upgrade and a worthwhile investment in this classic... and that's a theme you will see throughout this coupe. The color makes for a nice contrast to the Mach 1's aggressive blackout kit that includes the deep chin spoiler, matte black hood w/locking pins, rear window louvers, and full-width rear spoiler. And this has all the best details, too, like the full-length Mach 1 reflective decal striping and the hood scoop has integrated turn signals. It's all capped off with a set of iconic polished Cragar SS wheels.
The interior has a clan and highly authentic style. You really see that in the details, including the full wood-like trim package and there's a correct-style AM/FM stereo that's still cranking out the tunes. Not only do the bucket seats have the comfort weave inserts, but also the aggressive red streak in the seatbacks. But just like the exterior, you have a few well-integrated upgrades. The air conditioning is now blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant, and the wood-rimmed steering wheel has a cool/classic style Moto Lita unit. And everything from the crisp/clean gauges (with large speedo & tach) to the Hurst shifter let you know this is a driver's classic.
Under the hood is a sharp-looking 351 cubic-inch V8. This is an era-correct block nestled in an engine bay dressed to look stock. You'll love details like the "Powered by Ford" polished valve covers, correct decals, and vintage-style Autolite accessories (like the regulator and battery). But you can also spot some of the right upgrades that are great for modern times including the upgraded compressor and Ford Racing plug wires. But what you'll love the most is that all this care makes for a strong runner that inhales deeply with a Holley four-barrel carburetor. The V8 also exhales with added authority and power with a header-fed H-pipe dual exhaust. And you're in complete control of this power and its high-octane soundtrack thanks to the smooth-shifting upgraded four-speed manual transmission. When you add in power steering, power brakes, and front discs, the result is a great any time classic.
Complete with Marti Report, this is a real-deal Mach 1 with all the right distinction correctly added. It makes for a great how and go package you need to get you hands on right now. Call today!!!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
