Here we have a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback for sale. This is a rare opportunity to own one of the most iconic cars every built. What makes it rare? The fact that it was bought new here in East TN and has only had 2 owners from the same family in its entire life. This car is stunning time capsule that runs every bit as good as it looks. Let's not waste any time, this is without a doubt the most impressive original body and paint '67 that we've ever seen. The original Acapulco Blue paint has been meticulously cared for its entire life as it still has a gorgeous luster and shows excellent. Obviously, all the body panels are originally and are equally impressive. All the body lines flow perfectly from the front to the rear and all your gaps are symmetrical with phenomenal fit of all the panels. We can also see that this Mustang has all its original glass and that every piece looks amazing along with all the seals and weather stripping. Every piece of chrome and stainless on this '67 is stunning from the bumpers to the rocker moldings you're sure to be impressed. To finish off the stance it's set up with a brand-new set of 15 Magnum 500 Wheels with new centers and new Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Fastback. On the inside it follows suite with the exterior as it's all in phenomenal condition. It's mostly original with exception of some minor changes like the added gauges. The factory two tone Blue interior is all in amazing condition and it is a factory bucket seat car. New door panels were bought for it, but we still have the original ones as well that go with the car. All the seat covers are beautiful and the along with the carpet and headliner. Looking at the dash we can see that it's equally impressive as the pad and metal are both in phenomenal condition. As we mentioned it has had new Summit gauges added under the dash that are working. The factory Speedometer and Gas Gauge are also working. Inside the trunk is all solid and it still has the original trunk mat. We can see that the gas tank has been replaced and that they did an excellent job with the install.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it has all been cleaned and up and the original 289 was gone through by the previous owner to insure a dependable on survivor that you can drive and enjoy. The 289 has a build date of 7E9 with car having a 29E Build Date. This 289 has had some upgrades done like the Ford Performance Intake and Summit 4 Barrel Carb. It's dressed in the Ford racing valve covers and matching air cleaner. The brakes have also been upgraded with 4 Piston Disc on the front and it also is a Power Brake set up. For exhaust it has manifolds with new dual pipes that feature the H pipe and Flow Master Mufflers. When you look under this Mustang, you're sure to be impressed as it has all the original floor pans that are in phenomenal. All the frame is equally impressive with no signs of damage or abuse. The 289 is mated to the C4 Automatic Trans and factory rear end with around a 2.83 gear. You'll notice that all the suspension has been redone with control arms, ball joints and bushings up front along with new shocks and sway bar. Out back it's had all new bushings installed as well along with cal tracks and new shocks. This is one gorgeous survivor that hits the highway better than it did the day it came off the showroom floors. Don't miss out on this stunning time capsule!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
