Here we have a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe for sale. This is where it all started for the Mustang Brand. The first Mustang debuted as a 64 ½ technically, but this body style set the stage for one of the most iconic cars ever built. The one we have for you has been restored in a gorgeous color combo, and it is a factory C Code car that comes with a lot of driver friendly options that will keep you cruising. The body on it is all rock solid and we can tell that it has been extremely well cared for over the years. You'll notice the fit of all the panels is great along with the doors, hood and trunk. Down the sides are straight and all the body lines come together beautifully. This '65 has been repainted and is done in stunning Burgundy Metallic Base Coat Clear Coat paint. It's been buffed and polished out to a gorgeous shine that has a slick finish. The burgundy is accented by the White Vinyl Top. All the trim and stainless is beautiful on this Mustang. Both the front and rear bumpers look to have been replaced and are beautiful as well. Looking at the glass we can see that it's all the factory CarLite glass with exception of the front windshield which has been replaced. It's all beautiful, and the side glass goes up and down with ease. To finish off the look it's sitting on the 14” Magnum 500 Wheels with White Line Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '65. On the inside it's done in the classic black that flows perfectly with the exterior color scheme. It features the bucket seats and console which houses the automatic shifter. Looking at the seats we can tell that they have been redone as the padding and covers are all in excellent condition. All the trim on the buckets is very nice as well. The door panels have also been redone along with having new handles and cranks installed. Looking at the dash we can see it's in great condition as well with a new pad having been installed. The factory gauges are all very nice and you'll notice the radio has been upgraded to a digital unit. You'll also notice that this Mustang comes with factory AC that is working. Inside the trunk is all rock solid and it's detailed out with trunk mat, spare and jack.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Mustang. Under the hood it's powered by the 289 V8 engine that's set up with the four-barrel intake and carb. It's dressed in the chrome air cleaner with new element along with having the chrome valve covers. As you can see, all the inner fenders are solid along with the firewall. Along with having Air Conditioning it also comes with Power Steering. To keep it cool it's been upgraded with an aluminum radiator. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and flow master mufflers. The 289 V8 is mated to the C4 Automatic Transmission and stock style rear end. For brakes it has Drums on all four corners. When you look under this Mustang, we can see that the floors and frame are all solid with no signs of abuse. The steering is all in great condition as well. On the highway it runs excellent and handles with ease with the brakes stopping true. Don't miss out on a gorgeous Mustang that while have wanting to cruise every day of the week!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
