General description : 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe Air Condition 200 Inline Six Automatic Transmission
Here we have a 1965 Ford Mustang for sale. This first-generation Mustang is one of the most recognizable cars ever built. It sported an all-new look that would forever change the face of pony cars. The one we have for you has been very well cared for over the years and is a great opportunity to cruise back in time! The body on it is in great condition as all the panels look to be solid with all the body lines flowing beautifully together. We can also see that the gaps at the doors, hood, and trunk are also very nice with everything having a great fit. This car is done in the Dynasty Green which is the correct color for it. The paint has a beautiful finish for its age, and it presents great. Up front we can see that the grill is very nice along with the emblems. The front bumper has a brilliant shine and shows little aging. Out back the rear bumper is also nice and shows some aging. The taillight bezels and lenses are also in good condition. All the glass in this Ford is looks good along with the seals and weather stripping. To finish off the looks it's sitting on the steel wheels with hubcaps.
Next, we will look at the interior of this '65. On the inside it's done in the classic black interior with bucket seats. The black is a nice compliment for the Dynasty Green exterior. All the door panels are in great condition, and it has the standard windows that go up and down as they should. The front buckets show some age but are still in great condition. The back seat is also nice. Looking at the carpet and headliner we can see it is also in very good shape for its age. Looking at the dash we can see the pad is in great condition along with the all the gauges and steering wheel. This Mustang does have the under-dash AC unit. Inside the trunk is all solid and is detailed out with the spare and trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the 200 six-cylinder engine that's dressed out like it would have been from the factory. WE can see that the firewall and inner fenders all look to be solid and are in great condition. As we mentioned this '65 is set up with Air Conditioning. The 200 Inline Six is mated to the Automatic Transmission and stock style rear end. When we look under this Mustang, we can see that the floors and frame are all solid and in great condition. On the highway this a great running and driving pony car that would make for an excellent classic to cruise back in time!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
