RK Motors proudly presents this hard-to-find 2007 Ford Mustang Saleen Parnelli Jones 302 edition! Upgraded and enhanced by one of the best performance shops in the world, Saleen, this Mustang has the power and performance to match its good looks.
The Parnelli Jones Edition is engineered from the ground up for enhanced performance, including a new heart in the form of a Three-Valve engine that is bored and stroked to produce 302 ci.
To achieve this power, each engine is removed, disassembled, and then rebuilt with a 3.80-inch stroke crank, Saleen connecting rods, and forged pistons. Extensive cylinder-head work is done at the in-house engine-building facility, and Saleen-specific cams are installed along with larger valves. Compression is increased to 10.5:1, the redline is raised to 6,500 rpm, and after employing a 94mm mass air meter, Saleen exhaust, and Powerflash computer, the result is 400 naturally aspirated horsepower and 390 lb.-ft of torque.
Saleen used a race-inspired suspension underneath, and handling far exceeds that of a stock Mustang thanks to Saleen Racecraft N2 struts, Saleen linear-rate springs, a 1.38-inch tubular stabilizer bar with urethane bushings, and Saleen-calibrated alignment settings. Outback are N2 shocks and a Saleen Competition Watts Link that replaces the factory Panhard bar. All this is done to make the car handle like no other Mustang.
The interior carries over the same race inspired theme with well laid out gauges to monitor the engine's performance and a 5-speed shifter to help you move through the gears smoothly. Creature comforts include factory air conditioning, power windows, power locks and power driver's seat. Music is provided two ways, via the dual exhaust notes or by the factory Shaker 500 AM-FM-CD-Stereo.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.
In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.
In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
