Ford Ranchero 350 1957

General description : 1957 Ford Ranchero Bo Huff Custom, Low Miles On New Motor

Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present a beautiful custom car from one of the premier builders that ever lived. Before you is a 1957 Ford Ranchero that was built by lengenday builder Bo Huff. Just to give you a short history lesson, Bo grew up in Dragerton, Utah during the 50's where he really honed his craft for custom painting and car building. Bo took his craft from California to Arkansas and back to Utah putting his special touches on cars. You can read more about Bo, but we have to get back to this beautiful car.
So just to look at this car from afar, makes you want to run over and take a look at it. You can tell right away that this is no "ordinary" Ranchero. You can see the beautiful black paint is in great shape and the white stripes with hand painted green pin stripes really set this thing off. The flames really ad to the special look of this car as well. Everywhere you look on this car you just keep saying, wow, this truly is a one of a kind custom.
Now for the custom body work that is done to this piece of art. Again, everywhere you look you are going to see something custom. The front bumper and grill is off of a 57 Desoto, the headlight tips have been extended about 6 inches and you will see a very unique "hawk" look to the center of the car above the grill. The roof has been slightly chopped but not to much. Most of us around here are pretty tall and we all fit in it just fine. The back end of the roof coming over the rear glass was extended 6 inches, and even the fins were raised and extended. When you look at the hood you are going to see port holes that look like they would be on a 52 Buick Roadmaster or something. This car is very cool to look at from just any angle.
Underneath this beauty is a very functional mustang II front end with adjustable coil overs, power steering, power front disc brakes, and power drum in the rear. You will see a great looking exhaust with glass pack style mufflers for that great sound out back. The side pipes are strictly for looks. As you will see in the pics, the undercarriage of this beauty is very clean as well. The frame is straight and does not have any rust on it. This is just one cool ride.
So now that we have you drooling over the top and the bottom of this baby, let's get in to the interior. Just hit that door popper, and slide on in to the very comfortable leather bench seat. As you will see, there are even custom floor mats to match the seat for when you are showing it off. The dash and steering column are out of a 59 Chevrolet. This is what hot rod guys did back in the day. Before there were tons of companies everywhere re-popping parts, you used what you could get your hands on that you thought was cool, and looked different from everyone else. The gauges have been upgraded in this car since the build, especially the speedometer. It is a GPS style that will always be accurate regardless of tranny or rear gear choices you make in the future.
Hopefully, you have yourself good and comfortable at this point. So, now just give the gas a pump and reach forward and hit that key. You are going to hear the new 350 crate motor in this car come to life. This new motor only has a little over 1300 miles on it. All of the power in this baby is sent through a 700R4 overdrive transmission for those times when you just want to cruise down the road. We are not sure of the rear gears in the car, but we can tell you that it is very well behaved on the highway.
This car truly is a special one of a kind that was built by a special one of a kind builder. Bo is no longer with us, but we know that he is looking down on his creations and smiling. We offer classic car financing for anyone that would like to take advantage of the option. They offer great rates and terms and allow you to pay your baby off when you want to without any prepayment penalties. It is a great way to get the ride of your dreams and not have to take all the money out at once. We look forward to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.

Today classic Fords are extremely popular with enthusiasts and a great selection of classic Fords can be found for sale at www.ClassicDigest.com
