Ford Tudor Sedan 350 V8 1947

General description : 350 V8, TH350 AUTO, PWR BRAKES, MODERNIZED FRONT SUSPENSION, GR8 CRUISER, NICE!

A full custom classic, this 1947 Ford Tudor sedan offers bright paint, plenty of V8 power, and great details like the custom interior that make it stand out in a crowded field. it can be all yours for quite a nice price.
The metallic gray instantly announces to the world that this is a custom machine. It gives this '40s Ford the kind of presence that radiates no matter if it's taking in the Sunday sunshine or the neon of your favorite cruise-in. While the gray has enough shine to replace bright work pieces like the grille, this one still has space for old-school bright work like the full-length sweeping trim that really sets this '47 apart. But it's more than just the color that got you excited about this one. It's a very modern interpretation of the custom street machine with its expertly deleted bumpers, and super-smooth rear end where the taillights have been moved and integrated into the rear pan. Plus, the bright wheels have an extra forward-leaning stance for the perfect street machine intimidation.
Inside you'll find more pieces of this custom and well-coordinated total package. The gray inserts of the seats match the exterior, and this is repeated on the custom door panels and dash, too. Plus, the cream color on this two-tone is seen in all the right places, including on the sports steering wheel for the feeling of quite a thoughtful build. Speaking of a good build, this one has all the features you want. It includes an upgrade to a modern AM/FM/CD stereo w/USB input, tilt steering column, and all the gauges are modern VDO units, including a large tach replacing the clock on this symmetrical dash.
Lift the hood to see more nice investments. The 350 cubic-inch V8 looks great within the dark engine bay, because it radiates with the bold block, shining valve covers, and matching air topper. More than just a looker, it has been upgraded with components like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. This Ford was meant for cruising, so it also has a three-speed automatic transmission, front disc brakes, and an upgrade to a Mustang II-style independent front suspension. So this is the kind of cool custom that's easy to drive any day.
This is a head-turning classic with a ton of charisma. So when it's also this affordable, you know you need to hurry if you want to take it home. Call now!

About Ford
Ford, founded in 1902, has arguably changed the history of automotive world more than any other car manufacturer by introducing the first people's car Model T in 1908. They had produced more than 15 million cars by the end of the production in 1927, by which T had become obsolete.

Ford launched the first low priced V8 engine powered car in 1932. 1932 V8 was an instant hit with superior handling and performance to many far more expansive cars of the day. No wonder 32 V8 Ford has become such a favourite among hot rodders around the world with 32 Deuce coupe as their icon.

During the war Ford completely shut down civilian vehicle production to dedicate all its resources to the Allied war efforts (1942-45) They used to build B-24 bombers, aircraft engines, jeeps, M-4 tanks, military trucks and Bren-gun carriers and more than 30,000 super-charged Rolls Royce Merlin V-12 engines for Mosquito and Lancaster bombers as well as P-51 Mustang fighters. After the war Ford cars in the USA got bigger and flashier along with their competitors. In the 60's Ford was back in the forefront again when introducing their commercial hit Mustang in 1964. Mustang was so popular the competition had to follow Ford's example and the ponycar phenomenon took over the US. Over the years the ponies grew some muscles until the oil crisis kill finally killed them off.

In the sixties Ford rushed into international motor sports scene with a fury. After unsuccessful Ferrari takeover, when Enzo Ferrari had cut the deal off with Henry Ford II making the latter absolutely boil with fury, Ford turned to Lola in UK to produce a Ferrari beating long distance racer after. The collaboration between Ford and Lola created the mighty Ford GT40 that absolutely beat Ferrari in Le Mans 24 numerous times.

In Europe, Ford introduced some of the most epic race and rally cars of the 60's based on humble family sedans; Cortina GT, Lotus Cortina, Escort Twin Cam, and Escort 1600RS with the iconic Cosworth BDA engines.
