GMC C-series 1970

General description : GORGEOUS RESTORATION, STRONG 350 V8, AUTO, 4X4, COLD AC, PS, PWR 4 WHL DISCS!!

Here's a classic truck with great looks, great features, and great power. So this 1970 GMC 1500 Custom 4x4 is exactly the right machine for work, play, and everything in-between.
Bright Canary Yellow and even brighter chrome...that's truly a bold way to make a lasting first impression. But also take some time to appreciate the details of this one. For example, the reason why a bold modern clearcoat color looks so good on this pickup is because it has some timeless curves. The squared-off hood melts into a rounded fender line that runs the full profile of this pickup. And you see this so well because there has been a solid investment in this truck to erase any workman roots. Heightening its attractiveness is plenty of mirror-like brightwork on the grille, bumpers, and even the beefy 18-inch wheels. And because this is a classic pickup, wood is a central theme. You not only get it in the truck bed, but also the trim has wood paneling all down the side and on the tailgate – a feature found only on the high-level GMC's in the '70s.
Inside, exterior yellow returns and is now joined by black for a bold and premium presentation. It starts with the custom bench seats with the houndstooth pattern that was made famous by the best Camaros. In fact, you might even think you are driving a classic muscle car once you grab GM's performance three-spoke steering wheel. Beyond that is the full gauge package that even includes a tach. Because this vintage truck feels like a great place to spend some time, it has also been upgraded with the right modern comfort features. This includes an AM/FM/CD stereo and ice-cold air conditioning running modern R134a.
The upgrades continue under the hood. The V8 is nicely dressed with polished components like the valve covers and radiator pipe. Plus, the yellow brackets that match the fender walls is a nice touch. But what we really love is the substance behind the style. This is a powerful 350 cubic-inch crate V8 that has been enhanced further with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and ceramic-coated headers that add power as they feed the rumbling 3-inch H-pipe dual exhaust. The upgraded motor is also quite helpful for more power when it's time for 4x4 duty. This truck has a two-speed transfer case to choose the right kind of off road work, and the tall stance reminds you it's a go-anywhere machine. But no matter if you're on the street of trail, the upgrade to four-wheel disc brakes will feel quite handy. Add in power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/As and this is the great-looking vintage pickup that can do it all.
This GMC has been given all the right investments to be the truck you've always wanted. And since it's turn-key ready today, you need to call now!

About GMC
Did you ever mistake a Chevy pick up for GMC? No wonder as those have been virtually identical apart from the grill and logo since the 20's.
The difference is Chevrolet trucks were marketed towards private users, while GMC was intended for commercial use, so it's more about market segmentation than anything else.
