Description : Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Z34 Brickyard 400 Pace Car. A special run of 400 copies of the 1995 Z34 were made and called the Monte Carlo Brickyard 400 Pace Car. The $2,195 option included interior ornamentation, embroidered leather 45/55 seating with full floor console, an aero wing spoiler, and an accent stripe package. These were factory-produced models of the pace car selected for the inaugural NASCAR race at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 6, 1994. The race featured the largest crowd in NASCAR history and a then NASCAR record purse of $3.2 million. This is car is powered by a 3.4-liter V-6 engine that is paired with an automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes air conditioning; power windows, door locks, steering and brakes.
