Lincoln Capri 341 1955

General description : Marilyn Inspired Lincoln

Just Toys Classic Cars is proud to present this stunning 1955 Lincoln Capri Convertible. This car was a George Barris vision like any other inspired by Marilyn Monroe. This car has gleaming 3 stage pink pear paint, and he made the rear quarters 1 1/2 feet longer than stock and molded in the continental kit to the rear of the car. This is a car that turns TONS of heads wherever it goes. The power top works great and the new black cloth top looks beautiful on this vehicle. This car is truly inspirational. This is the era when bigger was better, the more chrome the better and so on. Even if you are not a Marilyn fan, this car is so cool it just needs to be in your collection today.
The interior of this beauty looks just as great as the exterior with the pink and white theme carried through on the dash and the black and white seats look stunning. The front is a power bench seat and the rear looks like your parents old sofa in the basement it is so big. Everything is absolutely beautiful on this car.
Under the hood sits the original 341 V8 mated to the original transmission and rear end. Obviously, this car is not a horsepower monster, but it was never meant to be. It does have power steering and power drum brakes to bring this big beauty to a stop. This was the first year for Lincolns new front suspension and this baby just floats down the road. Put it in drive and throw your arm around your favorite someone and cruise the boulevard. Just let people try and figure out what is different about the car before you tell them it is 1 1/2 feet longer. Be prepared to make a lot of friends when you own this beauty.
We offer classic car financing for those that would like to take advantage of the option. They offer great rates and terms with as little as 10% down. This way you do not have to take all of your cash out of the bank at once and still get the car of your dreams. We look forward to speaking with you soon, and we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family.

About Lincoln
Lincoln, often regarded as more than just an upmarket Ford, has carved its own niche in the automotive world with a rich history and a lineup of distinctive models. Let's take a stroll down the memory lane of Lincoln's story.

Early Beginnings:

Founded in 1917 by Henry Leland, the man behind the Cadillac brand, Lincoln initially started as a luxury automobile company. The brand quickly gained a reputation for its quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The Ford Era:

In 1922, Lincoln was acquired by the Ford Motor Company, and this marked the beginning of a long association. Ford aimed to position Lincoln as its luxury division, competing with other prestigious brands in the market.

Classic Models:

Over the years, Lincoln introduced several iconic models that left a lasting impact on the automotive landscape:

Lincoln Continental: Launched in the 1940s, the Continental became an instant classic. Its elegant design and iconic suicide doors made it a symbol of luxury and sophistication.
Lincoln Town Car: Introduced in the 1980s, the Town Car became synonymous with chauffeur-driven luxury. Its spacious interior and smooth ride made it a favorite among executives and dignitaries.
Lincoln Navigator: The late '90s saw the rise of the SUV craze, and Lincoln was quick to respond with the Navigator. A full-size luxury SUV, the Navigator combined opulence with utility and became a popular choice among affluent families.
