Totally rebuilt and impeccably restored by JD Classics to current FIA race specification, the Lister now has the latest specification competition 354 BHP engine with a wide angle cylinder head, correct sandcast Weber 45 DCO3 carburettors and a D- Type gearbox. The Lister was raced in period by Masten Gregory for Ecurie Ecosse, the car has current HTP papers and is also UK road registered with its original registration number of 341 SG.
The Lister has been a competitor at Le Mans Classic and Silverstone Classic and raced in the 2010 Goodwood Revival, the 2010 Silverstone HSCC meeting, 2010 Grand Prix de L’Age d’or at Dijon, 2010 Silverstone Classic, 2010 Spa, 2010 Algarve Historic Festival - winner of the 2010 and 2011 Legends Stirling Moss Trophy Portimao 2 hour endurance. RACE HISTORY
This original Lister Jaguar Chassis No. BHL 104 was the fourth customer Lister Jaguar. It was supplied new in kit form to the famous Scottish Racing Team of Ecurie Ecosse in April 1958. It had magnesium bodywork and was given the registration number of ‘341 SG’, a number it still carries today.

After some time, the car passed to Gordon Chapman. Later it became the property of Bill Bradley. During the ownership of both Chapman and Bradley, no work was carried out on the car and it wasn’t until its next owner, John Pearson, that a full restoration took place.
1982:
In the hands of Jaguar Expert John Pearson the car was rebuilt to original specification.
1985:
When the car’s rebuild was complete it was sold to Paul D. Leuch in 1985. The car then travelled to Leuch’s home country of New Zealand and was entered into national races there.
1997:
The car became part of the Abba Kogan Collection under curator Tony Green.
2001:
After a prolonged period away from home shores, BHL 104 returned to England. The car was also back in the hands of Pearson Engineering, but this time it was John Pearson’s son, Gary, who would undertake the rebuild to FIA Competition Specification.
2005:
BHL 104 was purchased by JD Classics and its current race career began some 47 years after its first event, still in Ecurie Ecosse’s famous blue paintwork and still registered ‘341 SG’ .
